3D creations in the aquarium

By  |  Comments

This is probably the first time you get to see an aquarium like this - designer Haruka Misawa presents a series of sculptural aquariums which are distinguishable for their minimalistic design and untraditional nature elements, which are printed by a 3D printer. Digitally produced objects include flower motifs, various other types of plants, a net or even conceptual mini aquariums inside the big one. These objects act as prototypes of natural shelter for fish.  It’s worth mentioning that real plants can also grow in such type of an aquarium due to bubbles of air installed inside. These works can be seen in the exhibition called “Waterscape” in Taivan. Haruka also documents the process and the particularities of aquascapes in her book, dedicated for those interested in such exceptional designs.
