K Residence by kräf•te: a labyrinth of connections

By  |  Comments

K Residence renovation project by Osaka based architecture and design studio kräf•te is a great example of minimalist unpretentious interior design with a soft zen attitude floating inside the house. The owner’s request was to live with greenery, secure two separate rooms with a high regard for privacy and have a living space where friends can gather. Designer Yukio Kimura looked at the entire space from a communication point of view and designed it with the concept of “connection” between people and greenery. He saw a similarity with the concept of “labyrinth” where you loose the sense of direction and do not know the positions of the entrance, the exit and even yourself.
