Kinfolk spirit: L’Esprit de la Mer

L’Esprit de la Mer dinner series by Kinfolk took place around the world on May 17. Each gathering was based around the concept of saltwater and the sea. As Kinfolk recalls, in Barcelona there was live music and a candlelit walk straight down to the sea, and in Berlin there were flowered ice cubes and a garden party. Friends in Lisbon shared a seaside picnic straight on the sand with fresh fish and shelled creatures, and in Melbourne, nasturtiums lined the tables while a wood-burning stove kept guests warm. These lovely images and some favourite moments collected by the Kinfolk team remind us that the warm Kinfolk spirit lives everywhere, from Tokyo to Berlin, from Barcelona to Madrid, and from Melbourne to many other places.
