Alexandre Chapelin, designer of the French product design brand La Table, believes that creating, shaping and designing table is a process of the endless opportunities. The concept of La Table is to take a simple piece of furniture and creatively transform it into a unique artistic statement that is a true reflection of its owner. According to Alexandre, in order to achieve this, his tables must have a soul and a story to tell; it has to be contemporary and spectacular; original and surprising. The Lagoon model of La Table coffee table meets all of this criteria. These unique bespoke tables make a reflection of oceans, rivers and lagoons, which are an integral part of designer Alexandre’s every day life in the small Caribbean island of Saint Martin where he creates.
