Putting on someone’s identity

Seems like people cannot stop trying to change their appearance. We not only try to hide our imperfections by using make-up or Photoshop, but take a risk of plastic surgeries. Inspired by people’s never ending wishes to make themselves look better or to become someone else, Skiko Shinzato created a jewellery collection helping to change facial appearance and create person’s ideal beauty. 

Jewellery designer Skiko Shinzato says that in wearing make-up, the wearer disguises herself as a clown: “Normally, makeup seen on clowns is so extreme that you cannot see the actual facial features of the person. This series, likewise, enables the wearer to hide her identity behind large crystals.”
