Artistic warning
Global problems have become a recurring theme in the works of contemporary artists. Street artist Sean Yoro (also known as HULA), based in New York, has found an attention-grabbing way to send the message: icebergs in North America served as canvas for his newest paintings, called “The warning”, which depict women faces and hands. The feeling of temporariness haunts the spectators and transmits a clear idea that rising sea levels present one of the biggest dangers for our world - murals which will be gone after short time embody both the ephemeral state of this art and the fragility of people facing ecological problems.
