Black marbled wave by Alexander Wang & Haydenshapes

Designer Alexander Wang recently teamed up with leading Australian surfboard brand Haydenshapes to create five marble surfboards for his latest Cage installation. From time to time Haydenshapes call upon selected individuals, artists, designers and creatives to produce exclusive projects. The Cage installation stemmed from the idea of developing a high-end surfboard as a visual art piece, while maintaining a superior level of innovation, performance and authenticity. The marble artwork was co-developed by Wang and Haydenshapes for his limited series, with Haydenshapes founder Hayden Cox personally crafting each limited edition surfboard by hand.
