A game of lights

Neringa Puckoriute, a jewelry artist and designer at Lithuanian brand SKURA Design, creates lamps that fulfill a room with more than just a light. She uses coconut shells and drills hundreds of holes in them to create a pattern.   The result - coconut shells transformed into unique lampshades, which create mysterious, yet impressive games of lights on the walls. As Neringa has always wanted to combine her love for nature and jeweler’s education, her pieces of art reflect the mystic essence of forests and the theme of plants. “Nature has really shaped my value system,” said Neringa, “I’m very keen on sustainability ideas, I enjoy using natural materials and I think it is very important to create things that are not only pretty but sustainable as well. I believe it is better to own fewer but more meaningful products.”
